A Falls Township car accident involving two vehicles claimed the lives of two people and left another person injured. The incident took place at approximately 2:30 AM on Sunday, July 8, 2012, along Route 13 in Bucks County.
According to local authorities, a vehicle traveling southbound along Route 13 struck another vehicle at the intersection of Penn Valley Road and Tullytown Road. The force of the impact sent one of the vehicles careening off the road, where it landed in a wooded area. Two people were thrown from the vehicle.
Unfortunately, the two victims lost their lives in the collision. Their identities were not immediately released by investigators.
Rescue crews transported the second driver to Saint Mary’s Hospital where they were treated for injuries sustained in the collision. Details concerning the unidentified person’s injuries were not immediately made known. No other injuries were reported as result of the crash.
The fatal, two-vehicle, early-morning Falls Township car accident remains under investigation by local authorities as they attempt to determine how the accident occurred and who was at fault.
