A Hilltown Township auto accident involving a single vehicle left two townhomes damaged after the driver of a sport utility vehicle (SUV) slammed into the homes and ran away from the accident scene. The incident took place early Friday morning, August 31, 2012, on Washington Place in Bucks County.
According to local officials, the driver of a Dodge Durango lost control of the vehicle and slammed into two townhomes in the 200 block of Washington Place in Hilltown. Authorities say the driver got out of the vehicle and fled the accident scene on foot.
It was unclear if anyone was injured as a result of the crash. However, both homes were damaged. The estimated damage amount has yet to be released.
