Man Loses Life in Warminster Motorcycle Accident

A man lost his life in a Warminster motorcycle accident after another vehicle struck his bike. The incident took place at approximately 10:00 AM on Monday, October 1, 2012, at Street Road and St. Davids Avenue in Bucks County.

According to reports, a car turned into a group of motorcyclists when the driver collided with one of the bikes at Street Road and St. Davids Avenue. The force of the impact sent the man to the ground.

“It was a pretty serious crash,” said a supervisor with the Bucks County radio room.

Rescue crews transported the victim to Abington Memorial Hospital where he was treated for injuries sustained in the accident. Unfortunately, he lost his life a short time later. His identity was not immediately made known.

It was unclear if the car’s driver or anyone else was injured in the wreck. The identity of the driver and the type of car involved in the crash was not made available.

The fatal, two-vehicle Warminster motorcycle accident remains under investigation by local authorities as they determine how and why the car turned into the group of bikers.
