Morrisville Car Accident Claims Life of 1, Injures 2

A Morrisville car accident involving two vehicles claimed the life of one person and sent two others to the hospital after the vehicles collided along Route 1 in the early morning. The incident took place at approximately 4:00 AM on Sunday, May 13, 2012, in Bucks County.

According to reports, two vehicles crashed into one another along the northbound lanes of Route 1 near Route 32 just before 4:00 AM. There was no early indication as to what caused the vehicles to collide or who was at fault.

Rescue crews pronounced one person dead at the scene of the accident. Two others were transported to St. Mary’s Hospital where they were treated for injuries sustained in the accident. Details concerning their injuries or conditions were not immediately made known.

Early-morning commuters were inconvenienced for an unspecified amount of time to allow police to conduct their investigation and clear the accident scene.
