Philadelphia Car Accident Leaves Two Injured

A Philadelphia car accident involving two women sent both victims to a local hospital where they were treated for unspecified injuries. The incident took place at approximately 6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, in the North Philadelphia area.

According to reports, two women were involved in a car accident at 20th Street and Sedgley Avenue in North Philadelphia. It was unclear as to how many vehicles were involved in the wreck or which woman was driving the vehicle.

Rescue crews transported the two women, a 16-year-old and a 26-year-old, to Hahnemann Hospital where they were both treated for injuries sustained in the Tuesday evening crash. The extent of their injuries was not immediately made available; however, they were both listed in stable condition.

The Philadelphia car accident remains under investigation by local authorities. There was no early indication as to how the accident occurred or who may have been at fault. The victim’s identities were not made known.
