Two Injured in Warminster Pedestrian Accident

Two people were injured in a Warminster pedestrian accident after a vehicle struck them during a walk along the road. This incident took place just after 11:30 AM on Monday, September 10, 2012, at Claire Road and Magnolia Road in Bucks County.

According to the Warminster Police Department, a man and a woman were crossing at the intersection of Claire Road and Magnolia Road when they were hit by a vehicle. Rescue crews transported the pair to Abington Memorial Hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The victims’ conditions were not immediately made known. The identities of the victims have been withheld by police.

Police report that the driver remained at the accident scene. It was unclear if the driver was injured in the accident or not. Authorities withheld the driver’s identity, as well. It was also unclear as to what type of vehicle the driver was in when he struck the two victims.

The single-vehicle Warminster pedestrian accident is still under investigation by local authorities. There was no immediate indication as to how the accident occurred, who was at fault or if any charges were expected to be brought forth.
