Upper Makefield Motorcycle Accident Claims Life of One

An Upper Makefield motorcycle accident involving a BMW claimed the life of a man after the two vehicles collided in the 400 block of Stoneybrook Road. The incident took place at approximately 4:30 PM on Saturday, June 2, 2012, in Bucks County.

According to local police, a man riding a 2009 Triumph motorcycle collided with a 2007 BMW X3 along Stoneybrook Road. Unfortunately, the biker lost his life due to injuries sustained in the accident. The motorcyclist has been identified as Nicholas Wilde Skuse, 28, of Levittown.

The driver of the BMW has been identified as an Upper Makefield woman. It was unclear if she was injured in the incident.

This was the second fatal motorcycle accident on Saturday in Bucks County. Michael Deperro, 25, of Langhorne, was killed in an accident along Route 213 in Middletown.

The fatal Upper Makefield motorcycle accident is still under investigation by local authorities. There was no indication as to what caused the accident or who was at fault. Anyone with information concerning the accident has been asked to contact Upper Makefield police at (215) 968-3020.
