Hello – I’m John Cordisco, and I’d like to share with you a very special place where prejudice has no home and people instilled in their children an appreciation for small town values.
I’m talking about my hometown of Bristol Borough. I still enjoy the friendships that began there when I was only five years old. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to grow up in such a beautiful community.
That community – Bristol Borough – is one of only a handful of towns in the United States, and the only town in Pennsylvania still in the running for the top prize in the “Deluxe Corporation” Main Street Small Business Revolution contest.
I’m heartened to know that so many people in communities across Pennsylvania are working to help their neighbor, and I’m excited about the revival small towns like Bristol are making.
I urge all of you to please vote for Bristol online at www.smallbusinessrevolution.org.
Each year, Small Business Revolution sets out to find one special small town in America. The winning town will receive a $500,000 financial grant and be featured in an eight-part cable series on small town revival and business development. The final selection will be based solely on nationwide voting. We need YOUR vote to make this happen.
Voting begins February 9 and runs through the 16th, and 1 vote can be submitted each day according to the rules of the contest.
Remember, you can vote at www.smallbusinessrevolution.org. Just look for the voting tab on the front page.
Many thanks to you for supporting my hometown.
