Warminster Auto Accident Ends with Crash at Middle School

A Warminster auto accident involving two vehicles left at least one person injured after a driver slammed into a middle school following a hit-and-run crash. The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon, September 5, 2012, in Bucks County.

According to reports, the incident began when a 24-year-old woman struck a man’s car in the 1100 block of York Road and fled the scene. Originally, police were responding to a domestic dispute call in the 700 block of Boxwood Drive before being diverted to the hit-and-run scene.

The man who was hit followed the woman where she eventually struck part of Log College Middle School. Fortunately, no one at the school was injured.

“When we arrived, we realized the woman was part of the domestic dispute we went out for originally,” said Lt. Jim Donnelly.

Rescue crews transported the unidentified woman to Abington Memorial Hospital where she was treated for injuries sustained in the accident. Her condition was not immediately made known.

The identity of the man who was hit was not made known. It was also unclear if he was injured in the hit-and-run portion of the incident.

The freak Warminster auto accident remains under investigation by local officials as they determine how both accidents occurred.
