A Northampton car accident involving two vehicles led to possible DUI charges after a driver slammed into the rear of another vehicle that was attempting to make a left turn. The incident took place at approximately 12:15 AM on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, in the 200 block of West Bristol Road in Bucks County.

According to reports, Alexander Ostash, 22, of Warminster, was traveling westbound along West Bristol Road when he slammed into the back of another vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle, who has yet to be identified, was attempting to make a left turn into a residential driveway when he was hit from behind.

It was not immediately made known if anyone was injured in the crash. However, Mr. Ostash was taken to St. Mary Medical Center where blood and urine samples were taken for analysis.

Police have indicated that alcohol may have played a role in the crash, based on Mr. Ostash’s appearance, actions, and inability to pass a field sobriety test.

The two-vehicle Northampton car accident is still under investigation by local authorities. DUI charges are pending the lap report.

This is an unfortunate incident, and we wish everyone involved in the crash a speedy recovery.
