A Bucks County driver was stopped at a red light near Route 13 and Edgely Road in Bristol Township when the driver behind him forcefully rear-ended his vehicle, pushing him into the car stopped ahead. The at-fault driver told police he had dropped his cellphone, didn’t see the stopped vehicles, and struck our client’s car, leading police to cite him for careless driving and identify him as the primary cause of the three-vehicle crash.
Our client suffered painful injuries to his back, neck, left knee, hips, pelvis, and thigh, requiring emergency evaluation, imaging, pain-management treatment, spinal injections, and radiofrequency ablation. The pain disrupted his sleep, home routines, and everyday comfort.
We sent representation letters, requested preservation of driving data, gathered medical records and billing, tracked PIP benefits, filed suit, and negotiated with the insurer, resolving lien and medical-bill issues along the way.
After litigation and negotiation, the insurer issued a $250,000 payment in full and final settlement, giving our client a measure of justice and reflecting the resilience he showed throughout his recovery.
