Joseph P. Lavin

Mr. Lavin is an accomplished attorney with approaching fifteen years of experience in personal injury litigation which includes a background in both plaintiff and insurance defense work.  He brings a comprehensive understanding of the legal system, having worked across multiple practice areas and with leading law firms throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  His career trajectory demonstrates a commitment to legal excellence and client advocacy with a strong focus on quality control.  

On a personal note, he is a native of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where he is deeply rooted and committed to serving the members of our local community.  He achieved two bachelor’s degrees from the Pennsylvania State University in the studies of Crime, Law, and Justice as well as Communication, Arts and Sciences in three-and-a-half years.  While earning his undergraduate degrees, he also exercised his creative talents as the lead singer of a multi-fraternity band called Lucky for Me.  His well-rounded college experience, and blue-collar background, have instilled in him the values of dedication, consistency, teamwork and leadership.  These principles would later define his legal career.

Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Lavin pursued his legal education at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, graduating in 2011. During his time in law school, he had a natural attraction toward civil procedure and torts, leading him toward becoming an excellent personal injury trial attorney.

Joseph Lavin began his professional career while working part time as a Law Clerk at Adams Renzi Law between 2010 and 2012, where he gained foundational experience in legal research, writing and client relations.  This early role proved instrumental in developing his litigation skills and understanding of practice management. 

He subsequently joined Spear, Greenfield & Richman, P.C., where he worked as an Attorney for over three years, building an expertise in commercial and civil litigation.  This position catapulted Mr. Lavin into the middle of litigation work, where he gained essential trial skills.

Mr. Lavin then spent over eight years as a Trial Attorney at Progressive Insurance, where he gained more extensive experience in insurance defense litigation, claims management, and trial work. This substantial tenure allowed him to develop deep expertise in insurance matters and courtroom advocacy.   

After leaving a remote job at Progressive Insurance, Joseph Lavin took a job working in-person in Bucks County at Curtin & Heefner LLP, further expanding his defense litigation portfolio through working on behalf of large retail stores.

In more recent years, Mr. Lavin made a decision to focus his energy into representing people who are injured and really need his help.  He then joined Kwartler Manus, LLC and, later, Adams Renzi Law as an Associate Attorney in Center City-Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Joseph Lavin is now working with the team at Cordisco & Saile in order to bring elevated, responsive, responsible, and dedicated representation to our local community.
