Warwick Auto Accident Claims Life of One

A Warwick auto accident claimed the life of a father of three after two vehicles collided along Mearns Road. The incident took place on Monday afternoon, August 6, 2012, north of Creek Road in Bucks County.

According to reports, two vehicles, including a green Camaro, collided along Mearns Road north of Creek Road. The driver of the Camaro has been identified as Michael Romeo, 39, of Quakertown. Rescue crews transported Mr. Romeo to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Middletown where he was treated for injuries sustained in the accident.

Unfortunately, Mr. Romeo was pronounced dead on Thursday at 1:50 PM. Officials report that Mr. Romeo was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision. He was the father of three boys.

The driver of the second vehicle has been identified as Karen Gold, 56, of Doylestown. She was taken to a local hospital where she was listed in good condition.

The fatal, two-vehicle Warwick auto accident remains under investigation by local authorities. There was no early indication as to how the accident occurred or who was at fault.
